Infant Massage

Infant massage therapy is an important tool to help with bonding and communication with your little one.

Benefits  of massage:

Alleviating gas pains,

Colic 

Constipation. 

Ease into a healthy, restful sleep

Through touch therapy you can deepen your understanding of your babies body language and subtle cues.

This class will cover information on the benefits, contraindications and precautions of infant massage therapy. 

Terri will teaching massage techniques that you can incorporate into your daily routine before naps, after a bath, diaper changing and bedtime.  

DETAILS:

Each week of classes has a specific area of focus, that builds from the week previous.

These 4 sessions cover everything you need to know to master infant massage and bring complete range of benefits to you and your baby.  Each class we will discuss a different area, learn the massage techniques, then have time to practice. 

A wonderful interactive activity for you and your baby to enjoy ,as well as an opportunity to chat with others at the same stage as you.

Please ensure that your baby is dressed comfortably and to bring a blanket and small towel.

Recommended age range for this class: 3 weeks to 6 months old

Week 1 Focus area:  Feet & Legs

Week 2 Focus area: Tummy

Week 3 Focus area: Hands, Arms & Chest

Week 4 Focus area: Face & Back

SESSION SCHEDULE:

4 week series, All Wednesdays

Duration: 4 classes of 45 mins, with 15 minutes to chat and visit after class

Hello!

I graduated from Massage Therapy College of Manitoba in 2005.  With many years of experience I have enjoyed treating my clients with injuries and helping them to ease their pain.  I have taken many courses over the years but my favorite one is becoming a Certified Infant Massage Therapy Instructor.  I love being able to help teach parents different ways to communicate and bond with their little ones.  As a mom of two busy little boys I have found this training to be very beneficial.  It is my sincerest hope that I can help you with comfort and confidence after taking one of my classes.
