Nadine Weiler, CEC in Postpartum Fitness Pilates
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved movement. From gymnastics training as a kid to teaching kickboxing classes in university, exercise has been my outlet and passion. I became a fitness instructor to share this passion with others.
After graduating with my Bachelor’s of Science from Brandon University, I discovered the amazing benefits of Pilates and decided to get my certification as a Pilates Instructor. I was drawn to the beautiful techniques of control, precision, and fluidity of movement that Pilates practices. I’ve seen the benefits of Pilates in muscle strength, endurance, flexibility and spine stabilization, and would love to share them with you.
In 2016 I was blessed to give birth to my daughter. I had her by emergency cesarean section and was thrown for a loop as the strong body that I once knew, now seemed foreign to me. The recovery process postpartum was a road that I thought I would walk easily as a fitness professional, but I soon found out that I didn’t know the answers to many of my own questions about my Postpartum body. So in finding the answers to my questions, I completed my certification in Postpartum Fitness and learned how to properly heal my Postpartum body.
I am passionate to share this knowledge with all of my clients. I know first hand that there can be so much confusion about how to “get back in shape” after baby, and that the pressure that we moms feel to “lose the baby weight” can cause us to exercise in a way that may actually hurt our long-term health more than help it.
I am excited to teach Pilates at Baby Bump to help guide women on their fitness journey.
